Today’s photo is in response to a challenge laid by a new Photoblog friend of mine,
Stefan, to do something creative with a hole-puncher after my office stationery shots from yesterday and Friday… My initial thought was to create a ‘Hansel and Gretel’ like shot with the two punchers we have in the house walking into the distance leaving a trail of punched paper circles (instead of breadcrumbs). I did experiment with it but it didn’t quite have the impact I wanted. Instead I decided to go for the full on macro approach, with a shallow depth of field and a little creative lighting, once again courtesy of my little torch. I’m looking forward to seeing Stefan’s take on the humble hole-puncher later today. Does anyone else have any more suggestions for my office stationery series? I’m up for a challenge!
