I headed off my island, to the smaller Saltspring Island for a concert and a visit with friends.

This is my friends property. She is doing some garden work in from the the cabin I get to stay in. It's a little self contained house for me and ZTWD.

This picture is for Megs. They have an empty field beside the house, where Harry the goat (deceased), who they inherited when they bought the property, used to live. They like looking out on animals, but don't want to raise them anymore, so they contacted a shepherd who has more sheep than space, and he drops off a few at a time to summer there... these I named Curly, Larry and Moe, after the three stooges.

Reason for the visit (besides friends) was a concert in their wonderful, small, modern theatre of an African Dance troupe from Soweto.

This is a wonderful tree at the start of their driveway, covered in moss.
