"vivid imagination and florid language"

2009.01.04

The author's interpretation of what someone would feel like being swept by an avalanche over a 4000 foot cliff.

I found the effort to be in someone's head in their last moments contrived and irritating. Still, reading the book killed a lot of time.

The events in the book are interesting, but the author insists on making it some kind of Magical Mystery Tour. He also tries to keep the suspense going and fails.
